RNEWS Two Die in Orleans County Fire It happened around 6:30 Friday morning on Bates Road in the town of Ridgeway. Firefighters say the trailer was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived. Richard Vary, 60, and his wife, Roseanne, 63, were pronounced dead at the scene. Tammy Coville, who owned the property, said the Varys moved in approximately three years ago. According to Coville, the couple enjoyed living in the country. "That's what they wanted," Coville said. "They liked it out here. I don't think they would have ever moved. They didn't have any problems at all. They liked having yard sales, bonfires." Scoville said the couple was caring for a teenage nephew and that the boy had been staying with friends the night of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Rochester Democrat & Chronicle RIDGEWAY — Two people were found dead Friday morning after firefighters put out flames that engulfed a trailer on 3580 Bates Road.
