Albion FD Installation of Officers and Awards Banquet

The Albion Fire Department held their annual Installation of Officers and Awards Banquet on Saturday April 29th. Along with the program, the Department kicked off its 175th Anniversary.

200 members and guests attended. Numerous proclamations and plaques were presented to the Department from neighboring Fire Companies and local and state associations. Senator George Maziarz, former State Assemblyman Charles Nesbitt, and newly elected State Assemblyman Stephen Hawley presented AFD with a $15,000 grant to put towards the purchase of a thermal imaging camera. The members and guests were given a copy of a book compiled by the members of AFD to commemorate the 175th Anniversary.
